Marikina CGI Consulting Services has a slightly different approach to outsourcing services compared with other companies of a similar nature. We appreciate that our clients may be based anywhere in the world, and that a twelve hour time difference simply means that the communication cycle is broken into unacceptable frames. Despite the fast moving world of information technology, the real world moves faster, and being on opposite sides of the world can be a serious drawback when a project is under time-pressure. Also, there are sometimes ideas or business methods which can take hours to explain with a chain of e-mails that could be clearly understood spending five minutes talking directly with a Client or sitting in his office observing the daily order of business. Therefore, for larger projects, we'll recommend that our personnel should be based locally at the Clients' location for at least part the project's duration (especially during the initial analysis and design stages), thus eliminating the frustrating communication and interaction problems, and ensuring that the project specification and requirements are clear. This choice is entirely up to you as the Client, but if you feel it is justified, our personnel have no problems with travelling or working overseas. Our personnel can be made available when YOU need them, not just when you are finishing your day's work, and they are just starting theirs - and as they are all experienced in the company methodology and standards, they don't need to check back with the "head office" every five minutes for instructions / guidance. | ||
